They’re killing it with their newer designs, and bringing out more structured bags, which I’m always a fan of. I had a small Mulberry Lily in black for years, and it was my go to evening bag… but the leather started going softer and softer on it (which it’s meant to!), but it made me go off it in all honesty, as I do prefer something that will hold its shape. Plus, Mulberry changed their logo a while back, and got rid of the tree design, so I wanted to really modernise my collection with pieces from the newer range. Anyway, I suppose what I’m trying to explain is that the Lily for a good while was really my only “evening” bag, by that I mean one that I could take to a club, or carry as a clutch etc… but aside from the structure issue – really, I adored the design still.
