There are more positives than negatives. First, this ‘mini’ tote can fit quite a lot of items. I typically have my water bottle, wallet, phone charger, phone, emergency kit bag and I still have so much room. The material on this bag is stiff, but not in a bad way. I quite enjoy the stiffness because there is no bottom bag sag that you may see on a Louis Vuitton Speedy bag. The bag is light and you can wear it as a crossbody or use the handles. After using this bag for about 4 weeks, there are three things I do not like. The first being this bag attracts lint, a lot of lint. The good thing is you will have room for a lint roller since it’s so roomy (lol..but seriously). I also do not love how the zipper looks on the bag. It extends over the bag and I just don’t enjoy the look. I think it would have looked better if it was the length of the bag and not overhanging. The text on the front (The Tote Bag Marc Jacobs) is quite big and loud, so if you don’t want people to know you have a Marc Jacobs bag on this may be a problem. The nice thing is you can flip it around so that it’s inside instead of facing out for the world to see. This bag comes in other colours such as blue shadow, slate green, and beige. There are other material options as well like leather, jacquard cotton (textured fabric with patterns), crinkle leather, and denim. This bag is super popular and comes in mini, small, original, and extra-large. Overall, I really like this bag and I think the value is great if you are able to get it on sale. In Canada it retails for $200, but I’ve seen it go down to $140. Either way I think it’s reasonably priced for the brand. The simplistic design and versatility of this bag is well worth every penny spent on this bag.
