Aussi beau à l’envers qu’à l’endroit, son mécanisme apparent aux finitions ultra-soignées, est orné d’une tête de lion, signature des mouvements de Haute Horlogerie Manufacture CHANEL. Véritable défi technique, un diamant solitaire est placé au centre de la cage du tourbillon volant. Doté d’une taille spécifique pour maximiser son éclat, il tourne sur lui-même au rythme des secondes, créant un effet hypnotique. Lunette, aiguilles et couronne sont serties de diamants. La J12 Tourbillon Diamant existe en céramique noire mate et acier ou céramique noire brillante et or blanc 18 carats, chacune limitée à 55 exemplaires.
